History of Gradus a.s.

2009

Our laboratory was founded 1. 3. 2009.

2010

Since May 2010, the laboratory has been working in compliance with the ČSN EN ISO / IEC 17025 conformity assessment standard – General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. Since October 2010, all devices have been officially calibrated and metricaly bound (calibration was performed by calibration bodies approved by the Czech Accreditation Institute o.p.s, hereinafter CIA).

2011

Successful completion of the accreditation procedure in January 2011. In February 2011 was issued by CIA Certificate of Accreditation No. 43/2011 for Testing Laboratory No. 1603.

2012

In February 2012, the laboratory successfully passed the annual review of CAI bodies – the extension of accreditation with the possibility to issue opinions and interpretations. In practice, this means that we will be able to evaluate not only according to ČSN EN ISO standards, but also according to company standards (Car makers). This is particularly important for test parts for the automotive industry.

2017

Moving to your own space. At present, we provide a high standard of our services provides to about 30 permanent renowned clients in the field of industry and mechanical engineering, mainly automobile focus.
We have all the necessary equipment to perform these tests.

2019

In February 2012, the laboratory successfully passed the re-evaluation after 5 years of CAI bodies.

Colaboration

We closely cooperate with the testing laboratory at Škoda a.s. Mlada Boleslav. Here we consult and validate the latest requirements and knowledge in the field of automotive parts testing.

Since the year 2011, we are used to participate in interlaboratory comparisons with participation of certified and accredited laboratories GRADUS, a.s, Škoda Auto a.s. Mladá Boleslav, VZLÚ Prague and Magna Exteriors. The obtained results are in  good correlation of test sample results.

We also offer you the experience of our workers in the field of surface treatment. Here we offer cooperation in the form of consultations and training.
